Web16 Jul 2024 · The Potter Baseball Tour made its ninth annual stop in Ellwood City on Friday, July 13. Led by former Ellwood City baseball standout Jeff Potter, the tour visits over 30 cities in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Ohio and Virginia throughout July. The first tour game was played nine years ago on July 2, 2010 at Sanders Field. WebI published in 2012. Jeff now runs the Potter Baseball Tour, in which he takes a group of young people on a 30 day field trip across the Mid-Atlantic region playing barnstorming baseball games and giving back to the communities in which they visit. He has written two additional books since we met, "Saving Baseball" and "Far from being Done."
